MISLED YOUTH 2020-2021

“Misled Youth” is a series of works taking characters from my favourite cartoons and films as a kid, putting them in urban settings laden with graffiti or ripping their skin from their traditionally cute appearances.

 

The running theme of childhood heroes seen in a different light is a continuation from my 2020 silhouette & bones work, questioning “what’s under the skin?”
